CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST
Dr Elisabeth Rothaug-Smith
I am the founder and clinical director of Nurture and Growth Psychology practice. I am a passionate and highly experienced clinical psychologist with over 16 years of experience working in the NHS, third sector organisations and private practice.
I have a warm, respectful and skilled approach to working with individuals and families and endeavour to recognize and build on our strength, resilience and resources. My interventions are guided by the assessment process, evidence-based practice as well as your needs, wishes and goals for psychological input. I believe that developing a shared formulation paves the way for working together effectively and collaboratively therefore creating positive change, whether this might be through short-term or long-term interventions.

I have worked in a number of generic and specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in the NHS. This has included working with children and adolescents with mild to severe presentations both in the community; those requiring inpatient care; and, with learning disabilities and neurodiversity. Additionally, I have worked in an NHS perinatal parent-infant mental health service. These experiences, in combination with my own experience of being a mother to two children, have made me well aware of they joys and challenges that parenthood brings.

I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and chartered by the British Psychological Society (BPS); I am a member of the BPS’s Division of Clinical Psychology and Faculty for Children, Young People and their Families (CYPS) and Faculty for Perinatal Psychology (PERI). I obtained my doctoral training from the University of East London (UEL) in 2012, where I also completed my undergraduate training with first class honours.
CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST
Dr Lucy Hall-Payne
Growing up in today's society can be overwhelming and difficult for young people and equally hard for parents trying to navigate how best to support their child whom may be going through an emotional or challenging time. That's why talking with a supportive, compassionate, non-judgemental, experienced Clinical psychologist who believes in the importance of people feeling safe and heard can be incredibly beneficial.
My nurturing approach focuses on building the therapeutic relationship, making sure clients feel safe and supported to explore a wide range of difficulties. In my sessions I use an integrative approach that draw on a range of psychological approaches to help people feel happier, calmer and develop and strengthen their own tool kits to help them manage their emotions, relationships and difficult life events that may occur.
I have over eight years experience working in the mental health sector and have worked with clients across all ages with a range of presentations including anxiety, low mood, relationship issues, trauma, behavioural and attachment difficulties. I also specialise in working with children, teens, parents, carers and families.
I provide a free 15 minute phone call to discuss what work would be most beneficial whether that be individual, family or parenting work before committing to the assessment process. The assessment process will explore in more detail what approach is best suited to yours or your family needs. We will then collaboratively work together to identify what your goals of the sessions might be and what patterns may be preventing change from happening.

COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL THERAPIST
Henry Ker
I am a CBT Therapist with over a decade of experience working with children, young people, young adults and parents in South London.
My particular areas of interests include working with young people (12 to 25) with excessive stress, worry, low mood and anxiety, for example in relation to school, family or social challenges.
I am a neurodevelopmental specialist and am very experienced in working with people with neurodivergence as well as those with chronic health conditions and learning difficulties.
I aim to work in a collaborative and goal focussed way with the whole family in mind and keep focus on the inherent strengths and resilience that we show in day to day life. I practice mindfulness based approaches in CBT but appreciate that this is not for everyone. I have expert knowledge related to supporting adults with challenging parenting roles, for example where a child has behaviours that challenge related to ASD or ADHD. .
I have worked with families from all walks of life and believe that talking therapies can, at their best, be a transformational experience. I appreciate that families can come in all shapes and sizes and the importance of cultural curiosity. I am a strong believer in the power of movement and activity to help foster change and the importance of play to improve connections and communication within families.
I am a registered psychiatric nurse and work in a variety of roles both independently and for a youth community boxing organisation in Peckham.
In my spare time, I enjoy running, boxing, gardening and cooking.
